Buying Bank Seized Cars Cheap - It's Easy

When people can't make their payments on their vehicle it is repossessed by the bank or finance company.   These vehicles are then auctioned off for pennies on the dollar. These auctions are held throughout the United States and most are open to the public.

How much can you expect to pay for bank seized cars?  Many vehicles are available for up to 90% off book value.  Also, most dealers will provide a limited warranty.  An extended warranty may be available for a small fee.  Some vehicles may even have the balance of the manufacturer's warranty.  You will still want to get a vehicle history report (such as CARFAX) before you buy a bank seized car at auction.

How do you get started?  The first step is to find a reputable bank seized car site. They will provide you with information on how to find the auctions, how to prepare, how to pay and what to bring with you.  We linked to one here that we've used before and found to be reliable. There is a small fee associated with their service. Consider it an investment in research. You will find that the savings on just one vehicle you buy will more than make up for the cost and will give you the peace of mind that you're prepared and educated before buying a bank seized car.
